Flicker

You never really had a heart, not often, anyway.

Sure it’d flicker on and off,

but then pitch dark once more.

I thought once that you’d hid it, safe and sound somewhere then one day you’d bring it out and gift it, wrapped with care But you don’t know what ‘care’ is, it’s a foreign word to you. And so your heart stays hidden, no light would dare shine through, for fear the dark might steal it, then it would flicker too.

Ice Cream

So cold but yet brisk on a summer’s day
so sweet like candy canes but so chilly like a winter’s day Icy freezing frosting on a nice Sunday
arctic stony feeling mistletoe noel windy white
wintery rimy on top all the kids cheer when
the ice-cream truck stops
chocolate creamy cluster with a hint of dark
hearted shivers
blueberry blurry blizzard twinkle twinkly twirly
lights that shine so bright twix and tweets to make
the night just right

silver bells on a silver sleigh that’ll make your
heartbeat stop sticky and sweet with all the flavors
of a striped lollipop holly-jolly polka-dots the size
of gum drops crystal clear with the Icelandic cover
all the feelings you should get when you get a taste of the wonderful creaminess of ice-cream

The Unfaithful

Look inside their eyes and all you see are lies

falling for their every move makes you wanna cry devios yet mysterious getting ready for the

attack, one by one while all our hearts crack

breath taking life threatening pain you can’t maintain to be sane, sorrow made of joy but yet things
will never be the same

never trust never love never feel the gift shall never be revealed, the striking of the heart hits so deep you can’t even believe in your sleep stalking nights of dreams that weep

heart breaking pains of wonder the mind will

never discover

dangerous yet so delirious keeps you coming back like a golden retriever who doesn’t know when to fall back, screaming aching murder yelling retreat but can’t seem to find the one who felt discreet

blinded by the ones who speak but still say they’re “okay” from the ones they don’t complete, Controversial Bashful disgraceful all because of the Unfaithful...

Started in China, no big deal.
The whole world thought it was something you could heal. President sent over military aid until zombies began to raid. He found a friend and a place
and learned to shoot them in the brain.
The world is over when it is all said and done,
I cannot fathom the idea of fun.
Talk to my neighbor, Channel 07.
Domestic release nuclear weapons,
one hundred bullets bleeding dry,
so much death I just might cry.
Is this hell or is it heaven?
No, just day by day Armageddon.

Waiting for the Silence to Speak

Let the Silence speak, they say.
Just Wait for that moment when the silence speaks.
Let it invade your mind, suffocate your thoughts.
But when will you decide that you’re finished?
When I’ve already disappeared, already cleared the edge?
Sever these ties that keep me tethered to pointless anguish,
The ones that keep me suspended between confusion and silence
The silence, is it speaking yet?
I can’t hear it.
My heart is speaking; beating, jumping, stopping.
My hands are speaking; shaking, holding, stilling.
But the silence?
Nothing.
Wait
Wait
Wait
Wait for the silence to speak.
